Video: Busch Wipes Out Stenhouse on Lap 2; Stenhouse Parks in Busch’s Pit Stall

The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race got off to a wild start. After getting caught on the first lap of the race Stenhouse entered, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was slammed into the outside wall on the second lap by a clearly frustrated Kyle Busch.

The collision caused Bush to collide with the outside wall. A further look into the replay outlook reveals that Stenhouse didn’t do too bad as he held his line during the round 1 incident. Despite this, Busch eliminated Stenhouse after one lap.

After the accident, Stenhouse parked his badly damaged No. 47 JTG Daugherty Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in Busch’s pit box. Stenhouse got out of his car, climbed into the No. 8 pit box, and listened to Busch’s team.

After being tested and released from the infield care center, Stenhouse said he told Busch’s crew chief that he was going to wait to talk to Busch after the race because there is no tunnel in North Wilkesboro.

“At first I thought Kyle would do something similar, so I parked there. “I just told Randall that he could get on the radio and tell Kyle he could see me later. You can’t go there because there’s no tunnel,” Stenhouse explained. “So, I’ll come here after the race.”
