“Most wonderful experience of my life” – Bubba Wallace’s wife Amanda shares heartfelt pregnancy update

NASCAR star Bubba Wallace and his wife Amanda Carter are thrilled to announce they’re expecting their first child. Amanda recently took to Instagram to share their joy with a charming “bumpdate.”

In a series of Instagram stories, Amanda gushed about the joy of impending motherhood and how she’ll miss being pregnant once their baby arrives in October. “Bumpdate: Growing this little baby has been the most wonderful experience of my life,” Amanda wrote. “I can’t even describe how it feels. Feeling very blessed these days. I know when he’s here I’m gonna miss this big ol’ belly and feeling his kicks.”

The love story of Bubba and Amanda began in high school, but it wasn’t until 2016 that they started dating. They got engaged in June 2021 during a hike at Latourell Falls Trailhead State Park in Oregon and celebrated their wedding on New Year’s Eve the following year. Bubba reflected, “Getting married and starting a new life together – I’m just so excited to have a good one in my corner. We have so much fun together.”

This April, the couple announced their pregnancy with a series of photos, including an ultrasound image. The caption featured a whimsical poem: “Spring has sprung. Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, we’ll be mom and dad!” Amanda, a former financial analyst with a degree in finance and banking from Appalachian State University, has transitioned to being an artist, sharing her oil paintings on Instagram.

Throughout her pregnancy, Amanda has been keeping fans updated on social media. Recently, she shared a touching moment with their Australian shepherd-poodle puppy, Asher, who they adopted in July 2020. She wrote, “This is odd behavior for Asher; he randomly came up to cuddle on my belly. 99% of the time, he will only lay behind my head. I think he finally senses the baby.”

Bubba Wallace couldn’t help but find humor in his wife’s lighthearted comments about the “worst” timing for their baby’s arrival. With their baby boy due in October, close to Bubba’s birthday on October 8, he joked on X (formerly Twitter), “Wife: ‘It would be the worst to have a baby on your birthday/birthday week.’ Me: ‘well damn…okay’ Coming…my birthday week.”

Fans responded warmly to the tweet, sharing congratulations and their own experiences with birthdays near their children’s. One fan tweeted, “My daughter’s birthday is a week before mine. It will help you to remember your own birthday in the future.”
