“Lots of nesting and relaxation”: Bubba Wallace’s wife Amanda preparing for final stretch of pregnancy

Bubba and Amanda Wallace are gearing up for the final chapter of their pregnancy journey. The couple first shared their exciting news in April, with a touching post that featured ultrasound photos and a poetic message: “Spring has sprung. Summer will be rad. Fall is the first time, we’ll be mom and dad!” With only three months to go, the Wallaces are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new family member.

Recently, the couple turned heads at Tyler Reddick’s wedding, reveling in the joys of their pregnancy. Amanda shared a glamorous photo of the two on social media, where they both looked incredible in black. She stunned in a sleek black dress, bold red lipstick, and a vibrant fuchsia pink bag. Alongside the photo, she sent her best wishes to the newlyweds, writing:

“Kicking off a much-needed off week celebrating in style. Lots of nesting and relaxation planned as we prepare for the final stretch—growing this baby and the remainder of the race season! Congratulations to the beautiful bride @alexa.deleon_ & @tyler_reddick.”

Amanda also recently celebrated her baby shower with flair, accompanied by Julia Piquet, Daniel Suarez’s fiancée. She took to social media to share delightful moments from the event, including a cute gift: a sweater with the inscription “Asher’s NEW BEST FRIEND.” Asher, the Wallaces’ beloved dog adopted in 2020, is all set to welcome his new buddy.

### A Look at Bubba Wallace’s 2024 Season

As the 2024 racing season nears its end, Bubba Wallace is looking forward to some quality time with his newborn, a timing that might coincide with his birthday week. If he can notch some strong finishes on the track, it will be the perfect cherry on top.

Now in his eighth season in the NASCAR Cup Series and his fourth with 23XI Racing, Bubba is currently 14th in the driver standings with 545 points, trailing leader Kyle Larson by 204 points. This season, he has secured four top-5 finishes and eight top-10s, including three DNFs. Notably, two of his top-5 finishes were at the season’s start in Daytona and Atlanta, both times finishing 5th. Most recently, at the Brickyard 400, Bubba impressively surged from 17th to finish 5th, winning Stage 2 after not appearing in the top 10 in Stage 1.

However, Bubba recently faced a significant setback—a $50,000 fine for breaching Sections 4.4.B & D of NASCAR’s Member Code of Conduct. This penalty followed a post-race incident at the Grant Park 165, where Wallace wrecked Alex Bowman during the cool-down lap. The incident was sparked by an earlier clash during Stage 1, where Wallace felt wronged by Bowman’s #48 car. NASCAR’s decision to impose the fine was based on their view that Wallace had ample time to cool off after the race and should not have deliberately caused a collision.
