Now, former Cup winner Kevin Harvick is determined to win the race.
Kevin Harvick said on his “Happy Hour” podcast that he expects HMS’ Kyle Larson to pick up his second win of the year this Sunday at Kansas State. He backed up his claim by emphasizing how great the No. 5 car has performed so far this season. It would be redemption for Larson, who lost to Denny Hamlin at Dover last Sunday despite having the fastest car at the end.
23XI Racing duo Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick will be Larson’s biggest challenger. Both have won races in Kansas during their Next Gen eras, and 23XI Racing has won three of the four races held at the track over the past two seasons. So it will be interesting to see how Larson approaches this challenge.

Since Kyle Larson needs to qualify for the Indy 500 in the same race week as Arrow McLaren, the decision was made to hand over the session to Harvick.
