Just in: Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin and Chase’s Fans Involved in Urgly Scenario Over Chase Elliott

Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin and Chase fans get caught up in explosive scenario involving Chase Elliott

Did Denny Hamlin kill himself by shooting himself in the leg while trying his luck with late pit stop tactics at Martinsville Speedway? Considering the 11th place result, maybe! If anyone could put HMS’ victory on the podium, it was Hamlin.

Mamba Smith described a hypothetical situation during her recent podcast “Happy Hour” in which Hamlin crashed into Chase Elliott’s No. 9 car and could have issued the correct card with another caution. In response, Kevin Harvick stated that he could make such a move considering he had already received enough support from fans before the main event.

It’s no secret that Denny Hamlin isn’t particularly popular among NASCAR fans. It’s not necessarily his actions on the racetrack that have garnered him this tag, but his antics and outspoken behavior. According to Kevin Harvick, Hamlin wrecking Chase Eliott during the overtime finish, wouldn’t have made any difference.

Because the JGR driver was already receiving flak from the fans prior to race day. Speaking on the show, Harvick shared the incident of fans displaying their dislike for the #11 JGR driver during qualifying. “The good news for Denny is that they weren’t going to boo him any louder. So if he did spin out the 9 or anybody else, they weren’t going to boo him any louder. My favorite thing that I saw this weekend was during qualifying, it was a pack of like six fans… the whole family that was there together, and every time Denny would come by, they would both just put their middle fingers up.”

It wasn’t just the adults who dished out the treatment against Hamlin, even the kids were into it. “Everytime he came by, all three laps of qualifying, the kids and everybody, and everytime they go by they just start laughing, high-five each other, but it was like double birds. (…)Those are all the things that you see in the little ISO screen, never make it to TV and that was a fun follow during qualifying,” Harvick further added. Fans are very picky about their support and appreciation for a driver, and unfortunately for Harvick, he always received unpleasant treatment from the fans at Martinsville. Of all the Cup starts he’s completed at the legendary short track, only one, in 2011, was a winning streak.

Regarding his own experience in athletics, he said: “A lot of people messed with me in Martinsville. You know, Martinsville. It was one of those places where I kind of had a love-hate relationship.” “The fans loved going there, but I hated going there because I never had a good performance. There’s nothing wrong with Martinsville. It’s a great racetrack. , it’s fun to watch. It’s just one of those places where they either love me or hate me, and there were a lot of people there who didn’t like me. “I didn’t get off to a great start at Martinsville that year, and I dropped out of the race toward the end of the season when Bobby Hamilton passed me and took the lead,” Harvick added. NASCAR fans are certainly picky about who their favorite stars are. And considering the current situation, it’s safe to say that Denny Hamlin will receive similar treatment to the one he received in Martinsville, even if he does some weird things on the track.
