Hailie Deegan’s future in NASCAR is unclear at this time, as her involvement with AM Racing ended after the Chicago Street Course. Haas Factory Team, a new NASCAR organization that also includes members of Stewart-Haas Racing, has been mentioned as a possible landing spot for Deegan. It’s clear that the Haas Factory team wants to help establish Deegan as a driver and believes he’ll be a great addition to the team. Sheldon Creed linked to new NASCAR organization for 2025 season
Sheldon Creed’s move to Joe Gibbs Racing was supposed to get the No. 18 Xfinity team back to winning ways, but that hasn’t happened yet. In 2024, Creed has had three second-place finishes, all of which were tough to stomach. It’s a season very similar to 2021, when Daniel Hemric was with Joe Gibbs Racing, and it could end up being similar.
When Catchfence’s Lee Spencer spoke about Creed on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, he mentioned the Haas Factory Team as a possibility for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. The Haas Factory Team is a new NASCAR team with Gene Haas and Joe Custer from Stewart-Haas Racing. It is scheduled to close after 2024. Cole Custer will drive the No. 41 Cup car with two open spots in the Xfinity Series.
Hailie Deegan has been linked to the Haas Factory Team in the Xfinity Series and could potentially have Creed join as a teammate in 2025. The driver of the No. 18 car probably won’t get a better outfit outside of Joe Gibbs Racing, but the Haas Factory Team could match the competitiveness of Stewart-Haas Racing in the Xfinity Series.
