Joe Gibbs Racing selects new driver for No. 19 Xfinity car following Brandon Jones’ move to JR Motorsports

Following Joey Logano and Josh Berry, AM Racing partners with Lawless Alan for the #15 Xfinity race car. The Californian driver is the third to drive the No. 15 car following the mid-season departure of Hailie Deegan.

AM Racing and its former #15 driver Deegan have had a rough start to the 2024 Xfinity Series season. Despite their efforts, the couple failed to achieve favorable results. Deegan’s best finish in the #15 Ford Mustang came at Talladega Superspeedway (12th). Without a Top 5 or Top 10 this year, AM Racing decided to part ways with the Temecula-based driver midway through the season. Since then, Cup Series drivers Joey Logano and Josh Berry have filled in for Deegan in the final three races at Chicago, Pocono Raceway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Now, the team has signed Lawless Alan as the third driver for the no. 15 for the final six contests before the 2024 Playoffs.
