I don’t know what the next step will be,” LaJoie said. That said, he expressed his disappointment at not being able to take the No.7 team to its potential. LaJoie admitted that during the current season he made “a lot of mistakes” that took him out of the running for good results.
But despite all that, Corey LaJoie remains motivated to get Spire Motorsports’ first win at the Cup level, which is expected to happen in the remaining races of the season. This season, aside from his fourth-place finish in the Daytona 500, LaJoie has failed to finish in the top 10 once and has finished in the top 20 seven times.
