Plus, he hasn’t even seen season 1 yet. “I don’t know.

Chase Elliott should participate in Netflix series
For NASCAR’s most popular driver, opting out of a Netflix series about the sport isn’t ideal. Chase Elliott has a right to privacy. No one should force him to do anything he doesn’t want to do or that would be detrimental to his career.
But at some point you have to become an ambassador for the sport. If NASCAR wants to be successful in the future, it has to work for it. It’s not enough to show up on the weekend, race on Sunday, and wave to a few fans here and there. Chase Elliott struggled last year. That can’t be denied. He needs to get back on track before he starts worrying about Netflix shows or even the playoffs. This weekend’s COTA could be the race he needs to get back into his groove.
It is understandable to not want camera crews in your house. Then again, most of us aren’t NASCAR superstars like Chase Elliott. I hear where he’s coming from, I do. There is just more that the Most Popular Driver, a former champion of the sport, has to do to promote and advance the sport in the media.
