“Bubba Wallace hints at a new vlog showcasing his Legend Car experience, saying, ‘I might have gotten dumped or maybe not.'”

Bubba Wallace is excited to return to where it all began and take his fans with him. In a recent post on X, he announced that a video blog of his first day back in the new Legend Car will be available on YouTube soon.

Denny Hamlin’s prodigy has two NASCAR Cup Series wins with 23XI Racing. But before he stole the show driving the No. 23 Camry for 23XI Racing, Wallace got his first taste of Legend Cars and the Bandolero Racing Summer Shootout. During his formative years, he racked up 13 wins in various divisions, including the U.S.

Legend Pro division, VP Racing Fuels Semi-Pro and Bandolero Bandits divisions, all in front of his hometown fans. Now, after a five-year break, he returned to the Cookout Summer Shootout in June. This time, he’s got his perspective on the action, which he plans to share on YouTube. Bubba Wallace hinted at this by writing to X:

“Maybe I got dumped on the first night, maybe not . My new VLOG series on iconic cars will be on YouTube tomorrow at 3pm EST. (Yes, that’s right ) Click the link in my profile to subscribe

The last time he posted a YouTube video was in August 2022, titled “Bubba Wallace and Denny Hamlin Become Olympians for a Day.” So far, Wallace has uploaded 58 videos to his channel, garnering 7.8 million subscribers. Wallace is one of many NASCAR drivers who began their careers racing in the summer, including Joey Logano, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Chase Elliott. Bubba Wallace made his first appearance on the track at the 2019 Summer Shootout and then returned to grassroots racing after a decade of rest. He made his comeback at the famous quarter mile in the season opener in June and has said he aims to race all 10 events this summer.

Bubba Wallace’s anticipated strategy for the final 4 races

The final four races begin in a week, and Bubba Wallace will be looking to make the playoffs. Last year, Wallace made it to the playoffs for the first time in his Cup racing career, albeit only in points. However, the No. 23 started the 2024 season strong with two top-five finishes in the first two races. Since then, however, his momentum has faded, with only top-five finishes at Martinsville and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

After the race at Nashville Superspeedway, Bubba Wallace became the first driver to be eliminated from the playoffs by 51 points. With four races remaining in the 2024 NASCAR regular season, the battle for the playoffs is heating up as drivers fight to secure one of the final 16 spots. Wallace’s track record includes average finishes of 21.8 points at Richmond, 18.5 points at Michigan, 12.4 points at Daytona, and 18.5 points at Darlington. Richmond Raceway in particular has been a tough race for Wallace to crack as he failed to make it into the top five in his efforts.

He managed to earn more than 12 stage points in his last two appearances at Richmond, but finished outside the top ten both times. With no new winners on the leaderboard, the final playoff spot will be based on points. This could be a big moment for Bubba Wallace, but a new winner could upend the entire playoff picture.
