Following the wedding of Tyler Reddick and his longtime girlfriend Alexa DeLeon, Bubba Wallace playfully teased Denny Hamlin about when he’ll be able to walk down the aisle. Bubba Wallace, who got married last year, is about to become a father. Hamlin is the only boss of 23XI Racing worth $60 million and the last single man of them all. Denny Hamlin proposed to his girlfriend of 16 years last January. This came after years of rumors about their relationship status and a brief breakup in 2021. The couple first met at a Charlotte Bobcats game in 2007, where Hamlin said he was surprised by her charm. She will appear as one of the Lady Cats. Since then, they have built a life together, welcoming their first daughter, Taylor James, in 2013 and their second daughter, Molly Gold, in 2017.
After a long relationship, the couple has finally decided to get married, but no date has been set yet. Bubba Wallace is interested in the details and used the opportunity to tease his boss while congratulating Tyler Reddick. He shared a group photo with the following caption:

The relationship has not been without its difficult moments. They were briefly apart, and there was a time when Jordan Fish publicly expressed her displeasure with Denny Hamlin. She vented her anger at @dennyhamlin “I hope everyone sees you as a real person.”
She went on to say that her children deserve more than Denny Hamlin could offer them, and expressed relief that she was not a part of his future. Shortly after the post, her social media accounts were deleted. Although the couple initially separated, they appeared together again at the 2022 NASCAR Awards Dinner, hinting at a reconciliation after more than a year.
On a personal level, everything seems settled again for Denny Hamlin, but professionally he is not at all enthusiastic about the next generation car.
Denny Hamlin discusses the shortcomings of Next Gen cars
In the latest episode of Actions Detrimental, Denny Hamlin openly criticized the performance of NASCAR’s next-gen cars compared to the Xfinity Series cars. He expressed frustration with the cars’ inability to pass effectively and their poor handling in traffic, stating:
“We all know these next-gen cars are terrible in traffic. These are the worst cars in traffic in NASCAR. When we designed the car, we designed a car to be in the worst traffic ever. […] Before this car was even launched, I asked them three times, ‘Are you sure it’s right?’ Before they launched the car in December, they put it on the track with another car and said, ‘Oh my God, we are.’ No kidding, it’ll take two years to figure that out.” God, that’s so frustrating.”
With three wins already this regular season and four races to go, it will be interesting to see if Denny Hamlin can shake off his championship drought this year.
