Ravens RB Derrick Henry would have been a perfect match for the cowboys, But Dallas cowboys never reach out to him,Jerry jone confusion…

Former Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry has found a new home with the Baltimore Ravens after being unavailable to the Dallas Cowboys during free agency. Despite leading the league in rushing last season and attracting interest from multiple teams, including the Ravens, Henry had his sights set on the Cowboys for personal reasons. Henry, who lives in Dallas, believed it was the “perfect scenario” to play for the Cowboys and avoid moving his family.

But unfortunately, I never received a call from Dallas. Ravens running back Derrick Henry told @thepivot he wished he had signed with the Cowboys, which would have been a “perfect situation,” but the Cowboys never contacted him. “They don’t call me at all. That would have been crazy. I thought it was some sort of contact or conversation or something. You… pic.twitter.com/9HMVe2x1pK

While reflecting on his decision, Henry expressed satisfaction with joining the Ravens and emphasized his desire and the Ravens’ hunger to win. He emphasized the Ravens’ competitive spirit, especially after last season’s narrow loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC playoffs. For Henry, the opportunity to join a team prepared for success and determined to compete at the highest level was more important than personal considerations. He looks forward to helping the Ravens win a championship and making an impact on the field alongside league MVP Lamar Jackson.

Dallas Cowboys Draft Tryon Smith’s Replacement In Latest NFL Mock Draft

The Dallas Cowboys will be considering a number of options to improve their offensive line in the 2024 NFL Draft. They did not return left tackle Tyron Smith, who went to the New York Jets in NFL free agency. Dallas hasn’t made many moves this offseason and will be looking for a new blindside tackle for quarterback Dak Prescott.

There are other positions the Cowboys will need to address in the 2024 NFL Draft. In addition to offensive line positions, wide receivers, running backs, and defensive line should also be considered. Dallas has one of the weakest running back rooms in the NFL and needs another reliable wide receiver in addition to CeeDee Lamb.

The Dallas Cowboys selected offensive lineman Tyler Gutton from the Oklahoma Sooners in the 2024 NFL Draft to replace Tyron Smith.

In the latest 2024 NFL mock draft published by Bleacher Report, the Dallas Cowboys selected offensive lineman Tyler Guyton with the 24th pick. He played college football at the University of Oklahoma. Bleacher Report’s scouting department had this to say about Guyton:

The idea of signing Guyton with Dallas is for him to replace Smith in the future. They need to rejuvenate offensively and not have people learn different positions they are not comfortable with. The Dallas Cowboys have been criticized for not making many moves this offseason.

Guyton is 1.85 meters tall and weighs 145 kg. He needs to hit the NFL quickly, as the Dallas Cowboys need to replace Tyron Smith at the left tackle position. Smith is one of the best left tackles in the NFL, and while it won’t be easy to replace him, they need to find the next piece at one of the most important positions in the NFL.
