However, after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl, questions arose as to whether Brandon Aiyuk would return to the 49ers for the 2024 season. In fact, there are trade rumors circulating that Aiyuk and the Jacksonville Jaguars have mutual trade rights.

Deebo Samuels’ name has been touted as another wide receiver the 49ers could trade due to space issues. According to Over The Cap, the 49ers have just over $6 million in cap space next season. Conley caught one pass for 18 yards in the Super Bowl in February and caught three passes for 69 yards in the regular season. He could be asked to take on a larger role with the 49ers in the 2024 season.
