RFK Racing has announced a significant restructuring set to take effect by mid-March. As part of this shift, Dawn Turner has been named Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy, Marketing, and Communications. Turner brings extensive experience from major sports organizations, including the Carolina Panthers in the NFL and the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA.
This restructuring comes at a pivotal moment for RFK Racing and the broader NASCAR landscape. Formerly Roush Fenway Racing, the team has seen multiple changes since Brad Keselowski became a co-owner alongside Jack Roush and Fenway Sports Group in 2022. One of the team’s major recent developments includes the introduction of a third car in the 2025 Cup Series. Keselowski continues to drive the No. 6 Ford Mustang, Chris Buescher pilots the No. 17 Ford Mustang, and Ryan Preece takes on the newly introduced No. 60 Ford Mustang.

Speaking on Turner’s appointment, RFK Racing leadership expressed enthusiasm about her impact on the team. They highlighted her strong background in brand identity, fan engagement, and integrated marketing across various professional sports and entertainment platforms. The organization believes she will play a crucial role in further strengthening RFK’s presence in the industry.
Alongside Turner’s arrival, RFK Racing is also making internal staffing changes. Kevin Woods, who has played a key role in the team’s marketing and communications for over 20 years, will be transitioning into a consulting role. Leadership praised his contributions, noting that his deep understanding of the organization and creative approach have helped shape its growth. While he steps away from his previous responsibilities, Woods will continue to provide valuable insights in his new capacity.
Additionally, two longtime RFK team members are receiving promotions. Amanda Palmer has been elevated to Vice President of Marketing Operations, where she will oversee retail, licensing, and hospitality efforts, building on her tenure with the team since 2014. Meanwhile, Josh Neely moves into the role of Vice President of Partner Services, focusing on sponsor objectives and activations—an area he has been involved with since joining in 2020.
RFK Racing leadership commended Palmer and Neely for their dedication and contributions, emphasizing their roles in elevating marketing efforts and strengthening partnerships. They expressed confidence that both will continue to drive the team’s success as they take on greater responsibilities in their new positions.
