Playoffs Experiencing an immediate shakeup as Kyle Larson, Chase Briscoe NASCAR championship hopes take hit in Atlanta

That’s what  all NASCAR Cup Series  title contenders worry about, running an extra superspeedway race in the playoffs and starting the first race  on the first  lap. Third at the end of the first stage, top  seed Kyle Larson suddenly broke  free and crashed hard  into the wall and was drilled by lower  contender Chase  Briscoe.

“I good,” Larson said after  the  camp. treatment center left. “Fortunately everything  was held  well  in the car,It was a  big shock.

I don’t really  know what caused it. I was  really a bit tight  at the  turn. It was  too far  around the corner and  it went out. I  do not know.  Everything happened  very quickly.

The matchup will use  a  large majority of the points advantage  that Larson had  accumulated during the regular  season, while Briscoe will be forced into another must-win scenario  in the next two weeks,  just like him.He overcame to  qualify for the  playoff in  first place last week  at the  South 500. Larson  finished 37 and Briscoe  finished 38 and both  finished within one  point. Larson still has no idea what caused  it.”There was no warning at  all,” Larson said.  “On the contrary, I  became more and  more strict. “Yes, it took me by surprise. I have never been, even in the same shift, as without a step. It just  started  to flow and I  overcorrected and  yes, I just  overcorrected,It NASCAR. You can be on top one week and you can be at the  bottom of the mountain the  next,” Briscoe said.  “It’s unfortunate. I  think our car was  a far from  very good  environment. We weren’t very good in terms of balance and I  always felt like I  could just go right  through guys from seventh to  twelfth. I  saw my outside  crash in another because  someone kept trying to get  out of me and  I was probably a little late  trying to see the  five car  accident.

“I didn’t expect  anyone to  crash because  it wasn’t really  two wings, so I saw the smoke and tried  to slow down. I knew he was  going down the  runway and  I just kept trying to feed  him the  left and  to slow  down, but he couldn’t go far enough and then he  started  to slide down the track at the  last minute, so I tried to turn  to the right to avoid  him. It was a  great success .

“It’s one of the biggest  shots I’ve had  for a long time.  I’m happy to be good and we just have to  win.  That’s what we  have to do  in Darlington and I know  we can do it  again. We have to go to Watkins Glen and Bristol and try to do the  same.
