“New Leadership: Xfinity Series Team Replaces Crew Chief After Sudden Exit”

Jeremy Clements Racing recently made headlines in the NASCAR Xfinity Series by announcing a major shake-up for the 2025 season. The team has brought in seasoned crew chief Kase Kallenbach to lead the No. 51 car, following the departure of Mark Setzer, who concluded a four-year stint with the team.

Founded in 2010 by Jeremy Clements and his father, Tony, Jeremy Clements Racing has been a staple in NASCAR, operating out of Spartanburg, South Carolina. The team, which fields the No. 51 Chevrolet Camaro SS in the Xfinity Series, has experienced its fair share of highs and lows over the years. Under Setzer’s guidance, they achieved notable milestones, though recent seasons have been challenging, with only one top-10 finish and back-to-back seasons ending in 19th and 20th in the standings.

Reflecting on Setzer’s time with the team, Jeremy Clements shared: “Mark [Setzer] has played a big role in growing our program. We’ve had some great moments with him on the pit box, and I truly appreciate all his hard work over the past four seasons. We wish him all the best moving forward.”

To reinvigorate their performance, the team has enlisted Kase Kallenbach, a Powderville, South Carolina native with extensive experience in the Xfinity Series. Kallenbach’s career spans 177 starts, highlighted by a top-five finish and three top-10s, including a recent success at Michigan in 2024 with Caesar Bacarella. His tenure with teams such as Alpha Prime Racing and JD Motorsports brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Jeremy Clements Racing.

Jeremy Clements expressed optimism about the new partnership: “I’m excited to work with Kase [Kallenbach] this season. His experience as a crew chief in the Xfinity Series will be a huge asset as we aim to compete for race wins and pursue a championship.”

The new duo will debut on February 15, 2025, at the Daytona International Speedway, kicking off what promises to be an exciting season.
