Kyle Busch Hits Kyle Larson With Bold Accusation Moments Before Miami Huge Failure

Rivalries are the heart of motorsports, pushing drivers to chase records and prove their dominance on the track. This weekend’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway is no exception, but in today’s social media era, platforms like X (formerly Twitter) often become battlegrounds for drivers. Few embody that competitive spirit better than Kyle Busch, famously known as ‘Rowdy.’

Recently, Busch stirred the pot on social media after Kyle Larson won the Truck Series race. Larson is attempting to match Busch’s record of sweeping all three NASCAR series races in a single weekend—a feat Busch accomplished twice at Bristol in 2010 and 2017. In a candid interview, Busch didn’t hold back, suggesting Larson had an advantage. “I did it first,” Busch remarked. “Larson’s cherry-picking at Homestead—it’s his track. He’s one of the best at running the wall, and that gives him an edge.” Busch’s feelings were clear when he posted a simple tweet featuring three cherry emojis directed at Larson.

Larson’s Truck Series win didn’t come easy. After spinning out, he fought his way through the field and capitalized on Corey Heim’s mechanical issues, eventually passing Layne Riggs in the closing laps. Despite the tough victory, Larson remained hopeful. “I felt like the Truck race would be the hardest to win,” he admitted. “I’m more confident about Xfinity and Cup, but the competition gets tougher as the weekend progresses.”

However, Larson’s hopes for the trifecta crumbled during the Xfinity race. Leading 132 of 201 laps and holding a 16-second advantage, he seemed destined for victory. But a late caution caused by Taylor Gray’s spin changed everything. On the overtime restart, Sam Mayer’s contact with Larson’s rear bumper ended his chances. Frustrated, Larson reflected on his bad luck at Homestead. “I can’t go when my rear tires are off the ground,” he said. “I did everything I could, but the 41 just slammed me.”

While Larson fell short, Busch remains the only driver to achieve the weekend sweep twice. Yet, despite his accomplishments, Busch admits there’s one thing he envies about Larson—being able to share victories with his son. Busch, currently on a 60-race winless streak, confessed that not having his son Brexton celebrate with him stings the most. “Brexton wants to be part of the celebrations, but I’m not winning like I used to,” he said. “It’s tough for both of us.”
