Ryan Blaney, the 30-year-old NASCAR Cup Series driver for Team Penske, married his long-time partner Gianna Tulio on December 12 in a stunning winter wedding. The ceremony took place at Hotel Jerome in Aspen, Colorado, with Karli Spangler Events orchestrating the event. The wedding planner shared glimpses of the celebration on Instagram, which were later featured in People Magazine.
Blaney and Tulio made their relationship public in 2020 and got engaged three years later. On their big day, Blaney donned a black suit paired with a bowtie and a fur scarf, while Tulio wore a V-neck wedding gown. The event, themed “Winter Enchantment: A Candlelit Aspen Affair,” was attended by 150 to 200 guests. Among the attendees were Blaney’s NASCAR colleagues, including Bubba Wallace, Chase Elliott, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Daniel Hemric, and Austin Cindric. IndyCar driver Scott McLaughlin also joined the celebration.
Karli Spangler Events expressed excitement about the occasion, sharing early photos and promising more to come. “This dazzling winter affair was such a wonderful celebration of these two incredible people,” the wedding planner wrote.
The couple plans to delay their honeymoon until April, during the 2025 NASCAR season, so they can spend the off-season at home with their pets.
Speaking to People Magazine, Tulio described the wedding as the realization of a childhood dream. “It was everything I’ve ever dreamt of as a little girl … the most magical night of my life,” she said. Reflecting on their bond, Tulio shared how Blaney helps calm her nerves, revealing they privately exchanged vows before the ceremony. “The thing we love most about each other is all the things we have in common. And the things we don’t, we find joy in and embrace those differences,” she added.
Blaney and Tulio first met in Las Vegas in 2018 when Blaney was racing, and Tulio was working a Hooters modeling gig. At the time, Blaney had just begun his tenure with Team Penske, driving the No. 12 Ford Mustang. The couple has since shared significant milestones, including Blaney’s first NASCAR Cup Series championship victory in November 2023. Just a month later, he proposed to Tulio in Leavenworth, Washington.
Now, Blaney is set to return to racing as a married man. The 2025 NASCAR season kicks off with the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on February 16.
