Harrison Burton’s Fiancée Spills Her Wedding Plans as She Reminisces Her Date With the Former Wood Brothers Star

Harrison Burton, the 24-year-old driver formerly behind the wheel of the No. 21 Ford Mustang for Wood Brothers Racing, has been making a name for himself in the NASCAR Cup Series. Off the track, his personal life has also been moving at full throttle, especially following his engagement to Jenna Petty (unrelated to Richard Petty) on March 27, 2024.

Jenna, a dancer and prominent member of the NASCAR community, recently gave fans a closer look into their relationship, upcoming wedding, and shared life during an Instagram Q&A session. Their love story, which started under unexpected circumstances, is gearing up for a new chapter with their wedding planned for October 2025. The couple first crossed paths on a double date during their teenage years—ironically, they weren’t each other’s dates. Reflecting on their journey, Jenna shared, “We went to the same school but never knew each other. We first spoke during a double date that wasn’t for us but ended up falling for each other. I was 15, and he was 16.”

From teenage sparks to a proposal nearly a decade later, their bond has grown stronger over the years. Wedding preparations are now in full swing, and Jenna expressed her excitement, revealing, “Planning has been such a joy! We’re working with @sweetgrasssocial, and they’ve been amazing. So, so lucky! The big day is set for October 2025.” As for her bachelorette party, Jenna joked, “No clue yet! I need to get my girls together, but whatever we do, it’ll be a blast!”

Jenna also reflected on the camaraderie within the NASCAR community, noting the unique bond shared with friends in such a competitive industry. “We’re so fortunate to have close friends who understand both the highs and lows of this world. It’s amazing to have each other’s backs and unwind together when we’re off the road.”

While Harrison’s NASCAR career has had its ups and downs, his maiden Cup Series victory at Daytona in 2024 stands as a major milestone. In a dramatic finish, Burton held off Kyle Busch to secure his first win after 98 starts. The victory was historic for Wood Brothers Racing, marking their 100th win and earning Burton a spot in the playoffs. Jenna described the moment as “Unmatched!! Never wanted that moment to end.”

As Burton prepares for new opportunities beyond Wood Brothers Racing, the couple continues to navigate the challenges and triumphs of NASCAR life, cherishing their shared memories and looking forward to their future together.
