Cracker Barrel Takes the Wheel as Title Sponsor for Nashville NASCAR Cup Showdown!

The NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway has a new name and sponsor: the Cracker Barrel 400. This change marks a shift from Ally Financial, which had sponsored the event for the past four years. The race is scheduled for June 1 at 6 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video and PRN.

Cracker Barrel, a brand deeply rooted in Tennessee, has signed a multi-year agreement to serve as the title sponsor. With 51 locations in Tennessee alone, the company’s original store, which opened in 1969, is located just over 10 miles from the track in Lebanon, where Cracker Barrel is still headquartered today.

Nashville Superspeedway general manager Matt Greci called the partnership a milestone, highlighting the shared local heritage. “Cracker Barrel was born in Lebanon and has grown into a beloved national brand. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to the community and our guests,” he said.

This isn’t Cracker Barrel’s first time in NASCAR. The brand previously sponsored the Cracker Barrel 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway from 1999 to 2001. Now, it’s returning to the sport in a big way.

“Partnering with Nashville Superspeedway is like coming home,” said Sarah Moore, Cracker Barrel’s chief marketing officer. “This race is a chance to celebrate our roots and share our values—southern hospitality, hard work, and people-first culture—with fans across the globe.”

The official Cracker Barrel 400 race logo will be unveiled during a press event at Gibson Garage in downtown Nashville.

Speedway Motorsports, the company that operates the track, echoed the excitement. “Both Cracker Barrel and Speedway Motorsports bring people together,” said Kevin Camper, executive vice president. “This collaboration showcases Cracker Barrel’s iconic story to a national NASCAR audience.”
