Brandon Jones returning to Joe Gibbs Racing NASCAR Xfinity team

Brandon Jones is returning to Joe Gibbs Racing next season  in a multi-year  deal to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity  Series. It’s a reunion for the 27-year-old who raced for the team from 2018 to 2022. During that  time, Jones won all five of his races in the  division. “I am very excited to  return to Joe Gibbs Racing and  join the Toyota Racing  family,” Jones said  in a press release.  “My time  at JGR  has been one of the most rewarding of my  career and  I look forward to  building on that success as we  pursue more wins and a championship  together.” I’m ready to  jump in and  take advantage of this incredible  opportunity.

Jones is the son of Rheem  director JR Jones, who offers  this and the B2B partnership with  Menard’s for Ledger Financing. We are excited to have Brandon  back at Joe Gibbs Racing next  season,” said Joe Gibbs.  “He has  tested with us and  we know  he will be in the championship  race every year.  “His veteran leadership will also be a tremendous asset to our  program.”

Jones is currently 14th in the Xfinity Series championship standings and  is looking to  make a strong push in the playoffs, potentially  Saturday night at Atlanta Motor Speedway, his home  track.

“Right now,  I’m still focused on finishing this year strong for my team,  my team, my manufacturer and  Menards,” Jones said.  “We will  give everything to  qualify for the  playoffs and finish the year on a  good note.” JR Motorsports has made  an exchange of crew chief and  crew around Jones and Sammy Smith, who is 10th in the standings and  still looking for his first  win.Adam Wall will  switch to Jones and the  No.9 car while Phillip Bell  moves to the  No.8, where he will  partner Smith next  season.

“We are  determined to  do everything we can to  ensure that our four  JRM teams  qualify for the  play-offs and we  believe this  change. it will give  Sammy and Brandon the best  chance to make  it. We  have complete faith in all  our  racing teams and  will do  everything we can to ensure  everyone’s success.

Carson Kvapil, who drives for JR Motorsports  on the CARS Tour, where he  won two championships, is the  most likely candidate to take  the No. 8  if the funding to do  so.
