ARCA Star Christian Rose Climbs to NASCAR Truck Series in Major Career Move

Christian Rose began his racing career in Super Late Models soon after earning a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. His rapid progression through the ranks of motorsports led him to the ARCA Menards Series in 2022, where he quickly made a name for himself. Now, Rose is set to take the next step in his career by joining Niece Motorsports for the 2025 season. The 29-year-old will pilot the No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado RST and team up with fellow drivers Matt Mills and Kaden Honeycutt.

For Rose, the opportunity to compete full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series marks a significant milestone. Reflecting on this career move, he expressed both excitement and confidence in the team’s capabilities. Rose emphasized that the speed and performance demonstrated by Niece Motorsports played a key role in his decision to sign on. While he previously got a brief taste of the Truck Series competition a few years ago, Rose now feels ready for a full-time commitment and is eager to build on the momentum.

“This is a huge opportunity for me to make the step up from the ARCA Series,” Rose said. “I had a taste of the Truck Series a couple of years ago, but I truly believe in what this team is building and can’t wait to get to Daytona. The speed this team has shown played a big role in our decision, and I’m excited about making this transition. If we focus, work hard, and do everything the right way, I think we’ll have a lot to look forward to next year.”

Niece Motorsports CEO Cody Efaw also expressed enthusiasm about the addition of Rose to the team, highlighting the program’s potential heading into 2025. Efaw believes that with the current driver lineup and organizational support, Niece Motorsports has the tools for success. He noted Rose’s steady progress and talent from his time in ARCA and expressed confidence in his ability to adapt and excel at the Truck Series level.

In 2024, Rose competed in two NASCAR Truck Series races with AM Racing, where he gained valuable experience. He capped off the season with a career-best finish of 16th at Phoenix Raceway. Now, with the support of Niece Motorsports and a clear focus on success, Rose is poised to make a strong impression in his first full-time season in the Truck Series.
