The 2024 Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day halftime performer has been announced. Shaboozey, a rising artist nominated for five Grammy Awards, will bring his talents to Ford Field during the halftime of the Lions’ game against the Chicago Bears. This anticipated matchup is scheduled for Thursday, November 28, with kickoff set for 12:30 p.m.

Shaboozey recently gained attention for his opening performance at Little Caesars Arena alongside Jelly Roll and has since secured Grammy nominations for the 2025 awards. His nominations include Best New Artist and Song of the Year for his track “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” He is also up for Best Remixed Recording, Best Country Solo Performance, and Best Country Song, showcasing his versatility across genres.



Verizon will present this Thanksgiving halftime show, highlighting Shaboozey’s unique style and Grammy-nominated talent, bringing excitement to the annual holiday game.

Currently, the Lions lead the NFC standings with an impressive 7-1 record. Tonight, they face off against the 6-3 Houston Texans in a Sunday Night Football matchup, set to begin shortly after 8:00 p.m.

The Lions’ upcoming schedule includes a home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday at 1:00 p.m. They’ll then travel to Indianapolis for a showdown with the Colts the following week, also at 1:00 p.m., before returning to host the Thanksgiving Day game.
