Struggling Kyle Busch provides a major injury update, hinting at the Paris Olympics as a potential lifeline

The Olympic break may have been disappointing for many teams and fans, but for some it was much needed. In the Indy 500, Kyle Busch finished 25th after crashing during a battle with Denny Hamlin. The Richard Childress Racing driver spun in Turn 3 and ended up on the outside wall. Although Busch was not seriously injured, he did not escape without a scratch.

Rowdy injured his left wrist in the accident, as he explained that in new cars he “breaks the steering wheel and breaks his wrist.” According to him, it was the new generation car that was the cause of his injury. But things worked in his favor because it was the last race before the Paris Olympics. Not only did he recover from his physical injuries, but he likely returned to good mental health while Kyle Busch and his family were on a trip to Italy. Thanks to Samantha Busch; Kyle Busch’s fans were all involved throughout his journey.

But we hope everyone is well rested, especially Kyle Busch, as NASCAR arrives in Richmond for Cup weekend. Why rest? Due to back-to-back flight cancellations, the Busch family had to hit the road and drive for 30 hours. But it was Samantha and her dad who made the trip, giving Kyle’s ankle more time to heal.

Although Kyle Busch made it clear that he did not break his wrist, the pressure is still on for him to make the playoffs. With only 4 races left until the playoffs, it’s more of a now or never situation for Busch. It’s unfortunate that he sprained his wrist, but in the end he used NASCAR’s 2-week layoff to recover. According to Motorsport.com, Kyle Busch also said: “Without two weeks off, I wouldn’t have been able to race. I’m fine.

I’m having a great time now.” Good news for RCR because it gives hope to fans who want see the driver of Camaro no. 8 in the playoffs. Despite his injury, Kyle Busch was able to start P12, which is not ideal, but we have to be happy. Austin Dillon managed to qualify in the last qualifying round and will start from P6. After the qualification, Busch talked about his race, saying: “Yeah, I mean, we shot well here.” Although the qualification went well, the main event is still ahead and Kyle Busch has his mind.

What does Kyle Busch think of the Federal Auto Parts 400?

“We felt good balance and, you know, good speed,” Kyle Busch said in his thoughts on qualifying. With Richmond giving the teams an optional tyre, he analyzed the difference between them, saying: “There is definitely a difference in balance between the two sets of tyres. That’s probably our biggest problem and it was our biggest difficulty .”

Hopefully, from the start of the race, the team will have a good idea of which compound to use. Busch also discussed his teammate’s top 10 finish before comparing his strategy to Denny Hamlin’s. He took responsibility for the situation and ended by saying: “But I made a small mistake, because I didn’t understand.”

With only 4 races remaining, do you think Kyle Busch will be the first winless driver to win at Richmond? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
