Stephen Curry Reunites with Christian Rapper Who Inspired Warriors’ Anthem Ahead Of Third Championship

Curry, injured, is taking full advantage of the time he has. Interestingly, by mimicking the Euro-step of his teammates, Splash Bro recovers and has fun at the same time. He is the face of the Golden State Warriors and rightly so, an incredible person on and off the court.”When I’m on the court, people need to know who I represent and who I am .” Curry said on the Wade-O Radio show. Curry has long been known as a Christian. When he attended Charlotte Christian, the basketball player had a pregame ritual: listening to Da’ T.R.U.T.H’s “This Is For You” before leading his teammates onto the court for warmups.

In 2018, MVP doubles as Bizzle, leader of the God Over Money movement, and his artist K. Allico created the Warriors’ anthem at the time, called “The Winners.” It was the GSW theme song during the 2018 playoffs. Interestingly, Splash Bro recently reunited with Bizzle, who posted a photo of them together on his Instagram Story with a caption that read, “Always great to hang out with this guy…” The story was reshared by Stephen Curry. Bizzle first revealed the Warriors collaboration in February 2018 via an Instagram post. In the photo, the rapper posed with Curry, hinting at the project by saying, “Something special is coming soon.” “Warriors come out to play… All day to win… Warriors for the kingdom,” Steph, the rapper, and his co-stars/fans can be heard dancing and shaking in the subsequent viral video.

The  four-time champion  also  supported the Warriors  on the sidelines and  provided entertainment as well. During the game against the Houston Rockets, he was  sidelined with an ankle  injury, but that  didn’t stop him from imitating  the slow step of his teammate Kyle Anderson.  Let’s look at the possibilities when  the star  returns to action. Curry’s status was recently  upgraded from  “out” to  “uncertain” on the  Warriors’ injury report,  suggesting his return to  action could be  imminent. It has not yet  been decided whether he will  play for  Monday’s game against the Wizards or later in the  trip, but a decision is expected  to be made soon. During an optional practice  in Georgetown on Sunday,  Warriors head coach Steve Kerr remained  mum about  Curry’s possible appearance in the Wizards game. Curry, who was  reevaluated that day, participated in  practice.”He looks good, but  it all  depends on how he feels after  practice tomorrow, so  we’ll see,” Kerr  shared.

Splash Bro has been  out the last three games  with a left ankle sprain, officially diagnosed as a left peroneal  sprain. The injury occurred during Golden  State’s only loss of the season so far, against the LA Clippers.  First he turned his ankle while  sailing through a screen, then, after  being briefly  benched, he injured it  again while  trying to set a  screen.Au In his three games this season, the  talisman  of  the Warriors averaged 18.3  points. , 6.7  assists and 5.3 rebounds.

Surprisingly, they are 3-0 without Curry, highlighted by  a thrilling win over the Rockets on Saturday night.  That record is already  tied with that of last  season, when Golden State went 3-5 in games Stephen Curry missed.  Coach Steve  Kerr noted that this  year’s team, with its depth, is better equipped to handle the absence of key players.
