NASCAR driver Frankie Muniz revealed Thursday that he suffers from a persistent parasitic worm, and was well-received by fans. The former actor is in severe physical and mental pain. Muniz is best known for his role in the TV series “Malcolm in the Middle” and works part-time as a driver in the NASCAR and ARCA Menards Series. Muniz recently went on a family vacation to Mexico, but the trip took an unexpected turn when he came down with a fever. On July 12, he addressed his worsening condition after his return, saying:
“I’ve been feeling awful since flying back from Mexico 8 days ago. I’ve just been feeling worse and worse. This may be my last trip to Mexico after all this misery.”
The 38-year-old recently shared an update on his health on X (formerly Twitter): “Day 22 of feeling awful. 2 ER visits, multiple doctor visits, countless IVs and I’m still struggling. “I’m really hoping to get back into training,” Muniz told X.
Fans are excited to see Muniz back on the track and have been sending him encouraging messages for a speedy recovery. Several fans responded to his post with positive messages. “I hope you don’t lose the faith ,” one user replied.
“Hope you get better soon buddy! Stay tuned ,” another fan tweeted. While offering condolences, some also expressed concern over the illness. “This is going to be really hard…stay strong, keep fighting and get it off…and start training again!!!/racing!!!,” one fan wrote, to which one replied, “Do you know what it is?”. One fan asked another user, “Is it corona?” In addition to his racing career, Muniz has also taken part in the Australian version of “I’m A Celebrity…”. Get Me Out Of Here to support Dementia Australia, a cause close to his heart after losing his grandmother to dementia!
Ice Cube tells Frankie Muniz to “take charge” during a celebrity basketball game
American actor and rapper O’Shea Jackson Jr. recently revealed that his father Ice Cube yelled at Frankie Muniz to “take charge” during a celebrity game.
On Wednesday, O’Shea Jackson Jr. retweeted a photo of Frankie Muniz and Nick Cannon in Golden State Warriors jerseys and shared a funny anecdote. This supposedly happened during an NBA Entertainment League charity basketball game in 2005.
“My dad once yelled at Frankie Muniz to take charge during a celebrity game. This is crazy,” O’Shea wrote. This was unusual, as taking responsibility is usually reserved for serious matches, not light-hearted celebrity matches.
