Chase Elliott claimed the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Most Popular Driver Award on November 22, marking the seventh straight year fans have voted him as the sport’s favorite. However, while Elliott dominates the popularity vote, his social media following tells a slightly different story. Richard Childress Racing’s Kyle Busch leads the pack in combined followers across X, Instagram, and Facebook, with 2,018,300 followers as of December 2. Elliott trails in second place with 1,924,600 followers.

On individual platforms, Busch surpasses Elliott on X (987,900 vs. 930,500) and Facebook (595,300 vs. 502,100), while Elliott holds a larger audience on Instagram (492,000 vs. 435,100).

Following Elliott in total followers is his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson, with 1,322,800 (X: 520,100; Instagram: 375,700; Facebook: 427,000). Denny Hamlin ranks fourth with 1,271,900 followers (X: 803,700; Instagram: 255,000; Facebook: 213,200), and Brad Keselowski rounds out the top five at 1,158,400 (X: 762,000; Instagram: 142,500; Facebook: 253,900).

Joey Logano and Bubba Wallace are the only other Cup drivers with over a million combined followers. Logano has 1,135,400 (X: 534,000; Instagram: 312,000; Facebook: 289,400), while Wallace tallies 1,114,900 (X: 430,200; Instagram: 504,100; Facebook: 180,600).

On the other end of the spectrum, younger drivers have significantly smaller followings. Carson Hocevar (106,500), Josh Berry (105,200), Ty Gibbs (93,600), and Todd Gilliland (83,300) are among those with the fewest total followers.
