Charles Leclerc Reveals the Real Story Behind Girlfriend Alexandra Saint Mleux’s Taylor Swift Obsession

Alexandra Saint Mleux must have been feeling the “lavender haze” as she enjoyed the experience of attending a Taylor Swift concert in Italy, thanks to her boyfriend, Charles Leclerc. The young couple, deeply in love, attended Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ in Milan, where they were spotted having a wonderful time together.

Leclerc, fresh off his outing at Silverstone, had a two-week break before he needed to report to Ferrari for the Hungarian GP. He used this downtime to indulge his girlfriend, making her dream of seeing Taylor Swift live a reality.

Charles didn’t just accompany Alexandra to the concert; he fully embraced the Swiftie experience, endearing himself to fans. He proudly displayed the bracelets that concertgoers gifted him, a tradition at Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ shows.

Moreover, Leclerc played the role of the perfect boyfriend, ensuring that Alexandra stayed hydrated by bringing her water bottles during the event. The Monegasque driver’s attentiveness and affection made him the ideal companion for the 22-year-old Alexandra, who was clearly over the moon.

However, seeing Leclerc at a Taylor Swift concert sparked curiosity among some Formula 1 fans, who began wondering if he himself was a fan of the pop star. When Leclerc appeared on F1’s ‘Beyond the Grid’ podcast, he was asked if he considered himself a Swiftie.

Leclerc candidly responded, “I’ve always liked Taylor Swift songs, but my Alex is a huge fan of Taylor Swift. She definitely looks up to Taylor and she loves Taylor….” This response made it clear that Leclerc attended the concert primarily to make his girlfriend happy, playing the role of her supportive plus-one at the San Siro Stadium.

Interestingly, Charles Leclerc isn’t the only F1 driver to be seen at a Taylor Swift concert recently. George Russell, another star of the sport, also followed in Leclerc’s footsteps and attended an ‘Eras Tour’ concert. After a challenging end to the first part of the 2024 F1 season, where he was disqualified from the Belgian GP despite his strong performance, Russell decided to unwind before the summer break ended. Taking inspiration from Leclerc, he went to see Taylor Swift perform at Wembley Stadium in London.

Just days before returning to his duties with the Silver Arrows, Russell shared pictures from the concert on Instagram, captioning one of them, “SWIFTIE!!” This post left no doubt that Russell, like Leclerc, has joined the ranks of Taylor Swift’s fans. As for his concert companion, it seemed Russell was there with a family member, but his girlfriend, Carmen Montero Mundt, also posted photos from the event, confirming her presence.

It seems that Formula 1 drivers, often seen as adventure-seeking adrenaline junkies, are revealing a different side of themselves by embracing their inner Swifties. As more F1 stars are drawn to the music and performances of Taylor Swift, the sport is showing a girl-coded, more relatable aspect of its culture. Do you appreciate this new, more down-to-earth image of the F1 world?
